Kansas City is reclaiming its national standing in the fashion industry, and Rightfully Sewn is preparing a new generation to join this effort.
Rightfully Sewn’s inaugural Fashion Biennial event, titled the GOLDEN GALA, will celebrate the culmination of our first fashion designer residency program and provide necessary funding for our seamstress training program. It will be Kansas City’s answer to the Met Gala in New York City, making the GOLDEN GALA the most opulent, fashion-focused event our city has seen in decades.
